The Short Film
Four families whose lives changed:

	Carma is an American citizen with two children. INS agents deported her husband Akram, an Egyptian, and their family has been separated for two years.
	Two days after 9/11, Salem, a U.S. citizen, was jailed in solitary confinement for 40 days for allegedly stealing a rental car.
	Hakim, his wife and their American-born child complied with a government program designed to register Arabs. A judge’s decision will determine his child’s future.
	The Rahmans were staying temporarily in a shelter in Buffalo, NY, until their asylum appointment in Canada. They, along with 15,000 other Pakistanis, left their homes and lives in New York rather than face deportation.
